๐ฉ Communication only via WhatsApp, Telegram or personal email
๐ฉ No company LinkedIn page or fewer than 10 employees listed
๐ฉ Offer letter has grammar errors or inconsistent logos
๐ฉ Company address is a residential building or virtual office
๐ฉ Requesting bank details or ID before you've met anyone

โ What a legitimate offer looks like:
Company clearly visible in Handelsregister with an address matching the offer letter. LinkedIn company page with real employees. Glassdoor reviews (positive or negative โ either is normal, none is suspicious). Interview process with video calls and real people. Written job contract before any money changes hands.
โน๏ธ This tool opens official public databases. The Handelsregister is Germany's legal company register โ every legitimate GmbH, AG, UG and registered company must appear there. Not being registered is not necessarily illegal for some sole traders, but for any company offering employment contracts it is a serious warning sign.
